Why free?
So you can judge whether 13x builds serious software before anyone asks you for money. The free plugins are the full plugins — no trial timer, no feature gates, no activation — and they stay free when paid products come later.
Questions
Are the plugins really free?
Yes. COLONY and AURORA are the full plugins — no account, no license key, no trial limit and nothing to unlock inside. LOFT will be free too when it ships in November.
Which DAWs and formats?
Any 64-bit DAW that loads VST3, AU or CLAP — Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper, Bitwig and the rest. COLONY and AURORA: VST3 and CLAP, plus AU on macOS and LV2 on Linux; COLONY also as a standalone app. LOFT: VST3 and AU. There is no AAX, so no Pro Tools yet.
Which systems?
COLONY and AURORA run on macOS 11 or newer (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and Linux (x86_64, glibc 2.35 or newer). LOFT comes for macOS and Windows.
How do I get support?
